Employee Wellbeing

The wellbeing of employees is vital to the success of an organisation in fulfilling its potential. A physically and emotionally healthy workforce can make all the difference in reducing issues around absenteeism and presenteeism.

HOW WE CAN HELP YOUR ORGANISATION

At the Dove Service, we know that one of the biggest causes of problems for the staff in any organisation is bereavement, significant loss, and issues around life-changing/limiting illnesses, which results in stress, anxiety, and other mental health issues.  We strongly believe that spending time and money on employee well-being is a clear demonstration of an organisation’s duty of care to its employees.

We understand that it can be difficult for employers to identify when an employee is experiencing feelings associated with bereavement and loss, and even harder to know how to support that person.  We want to ensure that managers, staff and volunteers are provided with training, support and counselling, to facilitate their well-being.

For practical information and resources on the importance of practising self-care while experiencing a bereavement follow the link to our self-care page.

In conjunction with our partners, The Dove Service runs a range of Employee Assitance Programmes (EAP) within our local communities…

Training Workshops

All of the workshops we offer are at competitive prices and delivered at venues across Staffordshire.

All Being Well…general guidance for employers and employees about mental health and wellbeing in the workplace.

EMPLOYEE ASSISTANCE PROGRAMES (EAP) SERVICES

The Dove Service works in partnership with local employers across the region to provide counselling, awareness raising and training to support our communities’ emotional health and wellbeing. As well as one-to-one counselling, we can also offer group support sessions for staff following an employee death or other traumatic incident.

Our rates for employee assistance packages are highly competitive and can be bespoke to your organisation.  If you would like to talk to a member of our team about putting training or counselling in place in your organisation please contact us @Enquiries or call Head Office on 01782 683155.
